inkPulse 2010: A Writing Summer Camp for Teens Provincial-wide summer camps for teens who love to write! Website Troubleshooting I don’t have a username and password. You must sign up for an online account at http://www.writersguild.ab.ca/Join-Now.asp. The form must be filled out to get an online account even if you are a current member or if you recently purchased a membership through mail, phone, or in person. There is no extra charge for the online account beyond the annual WGA membership dues. If you had an online account prior to June 15, 2009, you must sign up for a new one. All old accounts were purged after the redesign. Your username is the e-mail address you use to sign up with. Your password is the one you choose when filling out the form. My username and password don’t work. If you are using the username and password that you received prior to June 15, 2009, they have expired. All old profiles were purged after the redesign and you will need to sign up for a new account. Go to http://www.writersguild.ab.ca/Join-Now.asp to do so. If you signed up for an online account after June 15, 2009, your account will be deleted if your WGA membership payment is not received after a certain time. This is one month from signup for new members, 3 months from the membership renewal date for active members. If you filled out the form and your membership is fully paid for and you are still unable to log in, make sure that your browser accepts cookies from this site. Also make sure you are entering your entire e-mail address as your username, yourname@yourserver.com. I signed up but I don't see any features. To access the members-only features, your online account must be verified by the Administrator as belonging to a paid member. If you have paid your membership fee, you should be acknowledged as a paid member within a week of signing up. Please contact us if you have sent in payment but are still unable to access the boards after a week. Members whose memberships are up for renewal will lose their status as paid members if dues are not received within two months of their renewal, as the WGA membership will have lapsed. There is a grace period of one more month after the membership lapses before the online account is deleted entirely. I want to pay my membership online but my credit card payment isn’t going through. If you are unable to pay online, please contact the office at 1-800-665-5354 or mail@writersguild.ab.ca for assistance.
